We had a fantastic day at our Breed Specific Seminar held at the National Show Centre. Breed Specialists, Gaynor Morris (Secretary of the Havanese Club of Great Britain) and Andrea Akkad (Health Officer of the HCGB) gave a very in depth and information presentation on the breed.
The Society, in conjunction with the Irish Toy/Companion Society, ran four separate workshops and are delighted with the feedback given by our participants. We also ran a hands on assessment, with the help of Bichon Breeds Specialist Philomena Leonard. We were so pleased to see the participants apply what they had learned during our workshops.
We would like to thank Evelyn Hurley and Clodagh Fallon of the Irish Toy/Companion Society for inviting us to host the seminar, their support and encouragement have been invaluable. Thanks of course to Gaynor and Andrea for agreeing to share their knowledge with us, we thoroughly enjoyed having you both over!
We are delighted with the feedback we received from the participants and are grateful to all who took the time to attend and learn about our wonderful breed!
